Friday, August 8th, 2025, please join Decimate Metalfest and The Rec Room Calgary as we welcome INSURRECTION - returning to Alberta after 7-years since their debut Alberta performance at the inaugural, Decimate Metalfest 2018!
Hailing from Gatineau, QC, these tech-death veterans are blazing through Western Canada on their Obsolescence Across Canada Tour, supporting their ferocious fifth full-length album.
Backing them up are some of Calgary’s heaviest hitters — Illyrian, local thrash-death legends and long-time crowd favorites, will be closing out the night with a headlining set that promises sheer intensity. Rounding out the bill, rising crushers Godfall bring their signature brutality to the stage, and last, but certainly not least — SYRYN!
This will be SYRYN's final show of 2025. Frontwoman Sloan has recently sustained a serious knee injury, and the band will be taking the remainder of the year off to allow her the time needed to properly heal. During this break, they’ll also be channeling their energy into completing their highly anticipated third full-length album. Come show your support and help send them off with the fury and fire they deserve!
